Data Processing Addendum
A practical DPA framework for customers that process personal data through SwiftSignet. Business customers should review it with counsel and execute any required agreement before processing regulated data.
Roles
For customer-controlled documents and signer information, the customer generally determines the purposes and means of processing, while SwiftSignet processes information to provide the contracted service. The exact roles depend on the customer use case and applicable law.
Processing instructions
SwiftSignet processes customer data to host documents, facilitate signing, send transactional communications, maintain audit records, provide support and secure the platform.
Confidentiality and security
Access to customer information is limited according to service requirements. SwiftSignet uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards described on the Security page.
Subprocessors
Current subprocessors and their purposes are listed on the Subprocessors page. Customers should review that list for their compliance requirements.
Requests and incidents
Business customers can contact hello@swiftsignet.com regarding data-protection requests or suspected security incidents. Any legally required notification timelines are handled according to applicable law and contractual commitments.
